Marc Courville, EAO

V.P. Security

As Vice President, Security Division for The Attain Group Inc., Marc brings more than 30 years of Technology and Security industry experience to the team.

Marc has held senior security-design roles in the private and public sectors. As CTO at an international security consulting firm, he was responsible for assessments, designs and executions of facility security, operations, and technology systems, policies, and procedures. Prior to this, Marc led a global security systems manufacturer as Vice President, where he expanded his network of security products and vendors. Marc also designed, planned, and managed a major retrofit and expansion of security throughout a national organization’s offices and sites, ensuring conformance to international transportation security standards.

Clients benefit from Marc’s expertise in communicating complex technology issues. He began his career in automotive electronics, then became an educator to bring greater knowledge to the industry. As a Professor in the Faculty of Education at Ottawa University, he also developed and delivered a teaching methodology to educate academic staff about technology in the classroom.

Marc has worked in the Americas, Europe, and the Middle East, giving him a global view of the evolution of security best practices, applications, and the telecommunications industry at large. He is an active member of the Ontario College of Trades and Ontario College of Teachers, as well as an executive member of the American Society of Industrial Security (ASIS) – International Chapter.
